Learning how to play certain music pieces by ear can be difficult, especially if those pieces are at high speed.
The program has a looping option that lets you choose a specific interval to play it continuously. Also, it lets you choose the type of processing (Type 1 or lower, to Type IV, or higher), according to the speed of your computer.
If this was not enough, you can also modify the pitch of the song to transpose it according to your voice tone. This function can be used together with, or independently from, the slowing down feature. In sum, if you are a musician who needs or wants to learn how to play new songs from records or sound files, this program will be very useful for you.
The shareware version of the program will only play the first and second track of a CD, or the first quarter of an audio file up to three minutes. If you want to get rid of these limitations, you will need to purchase a license.
Pros
- Easy to use
- Changes the speed of the file wothout affecting its pitch
- It also lets you change the pitch of the song to transpose it
Cons
- Not very affordable
You can't import music from Spotify "straigth click & drag" way. There may be some sort of program that converts Spotify's files to mp3, but I have no idea of such program. The easiet way would be to record the song in your desktop by enabling stereo mix in your PC or downloading/buying a 3rd party software that records desktop. Save it to mp3 and use it. Either way, it would be considered illegal copying of music.
You can in the iOS version. I'd like to see that in Android.
I just purchased the app. How do I import music from Spotify?
