Review

This is official description

Musicians like to learn new songs and techniques while listening to repeated parts of songs. Usually, they aren't able to control the speed of playback.
Amazing Slow Downer provides the means to slow down the music, so you can learn the music in real-time by playing it from a CD, MP3, WAV, AIFF, MP4, WMA and many other file formats.

The following review written by one of the Software Informer contributors applies to version 3.2

Amazing Slow Downer is a program made for musicians and for all of those that are learning or want to learn how to play a musical instrument.
Many times, when you are listening to a song and want to hear some part either lyrics, bass, lead guitar or something, it is very hard to really distinguish which notes they are playing, or what exactly they are singing.
You’ve been there for hours, trying to figure it out, but you still have a long way to go.
Or maybe you just want to transcribe the whole song.

Relax. This amazing program, as its name says, is here to rescue you and help you to finish your task easier and faster.
What the software does is, literally, slow down the music.
There are some programs in the market that can do this, of course, but most of them slow down everything, to the point where you cannot understand anything anymore because the speed is so slow that voice and instruments begin to sound pretty weird.

Amazing Slow Downer slows down the tempo, without changing the pitch.
This means that no matter how slow you play it, the notes and lyrics will be heard as clearly as if played at normal speed.
The software is very configurable, so you can adjust tune, key and everything, just by adjusting the pitch in different size increments.

You can use it to modify music in your hard disk, CD or any other device. The whole process is done in real-time, so as soon as you make a change, you will be able to listen to it.
It supports many common audio formats like MP3, WAV, FLAC and more.
It offers great stereo quality and you can change the speed up or down according to your needs.
As a guitar player myself, it has been a great aid at the moment that I want to listen to a specific guitar riff. Probably soon I will be playing like Led Zeppelin.
This program will surely help you a lot to decipher those super fast passages or intricate lyrics.
  • Excellent tool.
  • Great sound without distortion.
  • Nothing worth mentioning.
